Subject: Dana Foundation RFP

Dear Ron and Lou,
The Dana Foundation has once again sent out an RFP for Brain and Immuno-imaging. The description is essentially as before with the previously defined two tracks:
Track A - is for "conventional systems imaging"
Track B - is for "cellular and molecular imaging of biochemical actions of specific brain cells, immune cells, or their interactions".
As before, we are allowed one nomination in each category. The national deadline is soon: May 22. I hope that you two will undertake the responsibility for choosing, respectively, UCSF's candidates in these two categories. You are veterans of this activity by now.
More data are available at the website: <http://www.dana.org>www.dana.org. Thanks for doing this task for our academic community.
Sincerely,
Holly
